Don’t drag your feet. Be like those who stay the course with committed faith and then get everything promised to them.

Hebrews 6:12 (The Message)

We do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised.

Hebrews 6:12 (New International Version)

Then you will not become spiritually dull and indifferent. Instead, you will follow the example of those who are going to inherit God’s promises because of their faith and endurance.

Hebrews 6:12 (New Living Translation)

A hard worker has plenty of food,
but a person who chases fantasies has no sense.

Proverbs 12:11 (New Living Translation)

He who tills his land will be satisfied with bread,
But he who follows frivolity is devoid of understanding.

Proverbs 12:11 (New King James Version)

The one who stays on the job has food on the table;
the witless chase whims and fancies.

Proverbs 12:11 (The Message)
