God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.

For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

John 3:17 (New King James Version)

For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.

Mark 10:45 (New International Version)

That is what the Son of Man has done: He came to serve, not to be served—and then to give away his life in exchange for many who are held hostage.
