Pay careful attention to your own work, for then you will get the satisfaction of a job well done, and you won’t need to compare yourself to anyone else.

Galatians 6:4 (New Living Translation)

But let each one examine his own work, and then he will have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.

Galatians 6:4 (New King James Version)

Make a careful exploration of who you are and the work you have been given, and then sink yourself into that.

Galatians 6:4 (The Message)

Work hard and work well the Lord will bless you in all your efforts!

Dad, this was a really good verse. It meant a lot to me this week, because of my fieldwork. It made me think about how I need to focus on doing the best job I can, and not compare myself to others. God knew how stressful work can be and gave us a little bit of advice that can be applied to our everyday life. I really appreciate that. Anyways, thanks for putting up verses everyday. I also like the picture you put with this one…it is really cute. Emily
