After one year as a visitor, and now two years as a member of a local Presbyterian Church in the East Texas area, I found myself reeling in disbelief on the actions of our minister toward me, and his attempts to threaten my marriage, in order to make my wife a source of more additional financial assistance toward his church. This quote assists me in having courage in dealing with this sad situation in a positive way in my community.
