You, too, must keep watch! For you don’t know when the
master of the household will return—in the evening, at
midnight, before dawn, or at daybreak. Don’t let him find
you sleeping when he arrives without warning. I say to
you what I say to everyone: Watch for him!

Mark 13:35-37 (New Living Translation)

  • Watch therefore, for you do not know when the master
of the house is coming—in the evening, at midnight, at
the crowing of the rooster, or in the morning—lest, coming
suddenly, he find you sleeping. And what I say to you, I
    say to all: Watch!

Mark 13:35-37 (New King James Version)

  • So, stay at your post, watching. You have no idea when
the homeowner is returning, whether evening, midnight,
cockcrow, or morning. You don’t want him showing up
unannounced, with you asleep on the job. I say it to you,
and I’m saying it to all: Stay at your post. Keep watch.

    Mark 13:35-37 (The Message)
