Teach those who are rich in this world not to be proud and not to trust in their money, which is so unreliable. Their trust should be in God, who richly gives us all we need for our enjoyment.

1 Timothy 6:17 (New Living Translation)

Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment.

1 Timothy 6:17 (New International Version)

Tell those rich in this world’s wealth to quit being so full of themselves and so obsessed with money, which is here today and gone tomorrow.

1 Timothy 6:17 (The Message)

I was an excellent point that you made in this verse Oh HEavenly Father. But I have to ask with all the worlds problems we are encountering on a daily basis from economic to social stuggles, What to a believer do when you are a custom to having a job or getting a job , but you can’t seem to get hire when you dont have one. What do a believer do when you are tired of having to depend on other or love ones to provide financial blessings to you but you dont have nothing to give when you don’t have. How can you create and provide a future for a future women or wife, your child or even most importantly yourself : when you dont even to make enough to accomplish what you desire. How can you start a life when you $13,000 in back bills? When people pray for a lottery winner , I can sypathesis with them , yes I know it may seem like trying to elimenating all the financial burdens so we can do your will with out destractions is the easy way out but Dont you as the God almighty want us to focus on you not the world?
