Honor God with everything you own;
give him the first and the best.
Your barns will burst,
your wine vats will brim over.

Proverbs 3:9-10 (The Message)

Honor the LORD with your possessions,
And with the firstfruits of all your increase;
So your barns will be filled with plenty,
And your vats will overflow with new wine.

Proverbs 3:9-10 (New King James Version)

Honor the Lord with your wealth
and with the best part of everything you produce.
Then he will fill your barns with grain,
and your vats will overflow with good wine.

Proverbs 3:9-10 (New Living Translation)

One Response to “Stewardship”

    This item appeared as an incoming link on my commentator and poetry site today. I felt a message in its appearance. My posting was regarding a “No vote” on a 51 million dollar proposed Bond Package for my city of McKinney, Texas on May 8th, 2010. My commentator listed all the reasons that I felt this Bond package was a negative for this community. My past experience with such community postings as proved to be hurtful to me, in ways that I cannot now express. My postings have nothing to do with ego, or seeing my name in print. Truthfully, I rather not be in print or on the internet. I do feel when one is given the gift to relate to others, and finds their lives filled with Blessings, God expects us to “Step-up” and demonstrate our love of our neighbor. My postings of today, was an example of my desire to please my Lord, in what He expects of me.
