There is more hope for fools
than for people who think they are wise.

Proverbs 26:12 (New Living Translation)

Do you see a man wise in his own eyes?
There is more hope for a fool than for him.

Proverbs 26:12 (New International Version)

See that man who thinks he’s so smart?
You can expect far more from a fool than from him.

Proverbs 26:12 (The Message)

  1. Dorothy says:

I know someone who is quick to Judge & give his oppinion even when it’s not asked for. This person thinks he knows all there is to know about life & situations in life. Sometimes we all make mistakes in life that we have to learn from. I feel that our Heavenly Father allows for us to learn & grow at our own pace, including some of the mistakes that we make. I feel that this person gets a sense of accomplishment when he see’s how it beats others down emotionally when he points out the mistakes & faults of others. Being made to feel like a fool even though you are not doesn’t make you feel good about yourself. God is the only one who can Judge us. He opens His arms to us everytime we need Him. I run to His arms, it’s the only safe place to go. So please, don’t beat others down by pointing out their mistakes & faults or think that you know everything there is to know, because you don’t. You have your own faults & have made your own mistakes. Would you like it if someone pointed your’s out to you as easily as you do their’s? No you wouldn’t so please think before you speak, because there is always someone else who thinks they are smarter than you & who prides himself on pointing that out the same as you do others. Pride isn’t a pretty attribute to have in your personality. Leave all of the Judging to God & see what you can do to help the people you end up making feel like fools!
