Love - Galatians 5:13

Published by Kent at 6:53 am under Scripture

For you have been called to live in freedom, my brothers
and sisters. But don’t use your freedom to satisfy your sinful nature. Instead, use your freedom to serve one another in love.

Galatians 5:13 (New Living Translation)

You, my brothers, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature[a]; rather, serve one another in love.

Galatians 5:13 (New International Version)

It is absolutely clear that God has called you to a free life. Just make sure that you don’t use this freedom as an excuse to do whatever you want to do and destroy your freedom.

Galatians 5:13 (The Message)

The more you devote yourself to obeying God, the more freedom you’ll find. This is one of many intriguing paradoxes in the Bible.
