I needed this today. I am having communication problems with my 13 year old daughter. Certain events have happed the last few days to test our relationship. It’s almost like I woke up one day and all of a sudden she was a teenager. I told her she needed to pray for guidance and strength and that I would do the same. I feel God has given us an opportunity here to work through our differences and come out of it stronger than before. I know we have many more battles in the future, but as long as God is in us there is nothing we can’t beat.

I needed this today too. I recieved an email I thought was from my nephew, whose in the military. It wasn’t. It was from someone who used his email address to contact me. This person said some horrible things to me about my mother. Calling her some pretty nasty names. My mother is 64 years old & she has not had an easy life. After raising her own 6 children(me & my siblings) my mother took on the task of raising our sister’s 4 small children, after our sister was killed in an automobile accident. 2 of my nephews, whom my mother raised have not been very kind to her since they have grown up & are moving on with their own lives. I am very upset over the things that this woman emailed me about my mother & family. She doesn’t know me or my siblings & their famalies. I am finding it very hard to be forgivening at this point. I wanted to keep in touch with my nephews as I do their younger sister who still lives with my mother. My niece doesn’t know any other person as her mother except for our mother, as our niece was only 6 months old when her Mama was killed. Our niece is 17 now. I am hoping that this situation is something that Our Heavenly Father can use for the Good. I want our family tobe closer than we are right now. It seems that there are some people who are strangers to our family(except our Nephews) want to keep this from happening. I will be in Prayer over this, because, I did loose my temper after reading the email that was sent to me. I emailed my nephew & told him of the email sent to me thru his account & I have blocked his email account from being able to contact me in the future. Anyone who has some advice about this, I will gladly except. Please keep our family in your prayers. Thank-you.

The following poem is rendered to hopefully assist in your request. It is from my upcoming third poetry book, Book III of the “Amidst Series” titled “Passion Amidst Apathy” copyright 2008 John J. Rigo. I pray it will assist in some small way to bring you peace regarding this situation. The net as well as other places in life, is filled with evil. God is our strength that protects us in all things.

    Lord, Bless this day.
    Bless me,
    and weaken my enemies,
so that I may be pleasing to You,
in rendering Your Word to others.
