Friend

Published by Kent at 8:11 am under Scripture

The heartfelt counsel of a friend
is as sweet as perfume and incense.

Proverbs 27:9 (New Living Translation)

Perfume and incense bring joy to the heart,
and the pleasantness of one’s friend springs from his earnest counsel.

Proverbs 27:9 (New International Version)

Just as lotions and fragrance give sensual delight,
a sweet friendship refreshes the soul.

Proverbs 27:9 (The Message)

“Depression” as a mental sickness attacks many during this time of the year. Individuals taking their own lives is at its highest during the Christmas Holidays.
Seeking help and insight through the Bible and other spiritually centered writings helps one focus on overcoming this state of mind. Remember, God Loves each of us individually and is There to comfort us and heal us from all the sickness that befalls us, whether physical or of a mental state nature.
