Even when I walk
through the darkest valley,
I will not be afraid,
for you are close beside me.
Your rod and your staff
protect and comfort me.

Psalm 23:4 (New Living Translation)

Even though I walk
through the valley of the shadow of death, [a]
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.

Psalm 23:4 (New International Version)

Even when the way goes through
Death Valley,
I’m not afraid
when you walk at my side.
Your trusty shepherd’s crook
makes me feel secure.

Psalm 23:4 (The Message)

One Response to “Fear”

  1. This Psalm captures the essence of David’s trust in God. Sheep have blind absolute trust in a leader. We are like sheep go astray, a ship without a sail. But if we put all trust in Jesus, he will lead you in the right direction. He will not leave are forsake you. Let Jesus lead you all the way from earth to heaven.
