Direction – Psalm 119:59
|
I pondered the direction of my life, and I turned to
follow your laws.
Psalm 119:59 (New Living Translation)
I have considered my ways
and have turned my steps to your statutes.
Psalm 119:59 (New International Version)
When I took a long, careful look at your ways,
I got my feet back on the trail you blazed.
Psalm 119:59 (The Message)
Have you ever come to a cross road in your life and wonder which direction to take! You will never fail you when you turn to him and to his word.

Oh my goodness I love this scripture. It has such a great meaning that the meaning of life really is Jesus Christ
This scripture is beautiful but I am exhausted with trying to find God’s plan for my life. I need more than to just read a word and it sounds good, I need to see change. My question is always how do I get from point A-B.
If we don’t see purpose in our lives then why go on? It seems so pointless.
We are left with constantly searching
Prov.3:5-6 “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.” Lisa; Just be faithful to the Lord and it will become clear. do what the book of James says in your current situation and things will become clearer each day. God is faithful and he loves you.
thank you Tim and I can understand Lisa because I have been praying and believing. Now it seems like my faith is wavering and I don’t want that because the only person I can trust is God but I have no direction in what to do in my situation next and I have 3 days left to figure it out..I havent been doing much because I have no direction.I just don’t wanna feel like im not doing enough but I wanna trust God and not worry..any advice out there…
Rosalyn: Your comment drew me to read the book of James this morning. Thank you. I will read it regularly for it is clarity for how I will be every day.
just listened to a sermon on direction passe`,If you ever wonder why God doesn’t answer prayers on direction, is if you have the Holy spirit he will guide you in all truth that means God expects us to grow up and make quality decisions and he will back us up,my son when he was learning to walk at 11 months i was behind him not to fall, now he is three he doesn’t expect me to hold his hand when he goes poddy he will walk by himself and i trust him if he needs help in the area i didn’t train him i show up.
Psalms65:11Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; and thy paths drop fatness.
