“The LORD loves you.”
Deuteronomy 7:8 NLT

God loves you simply because he has chosen to do so.

He loves you when you don’t feel lovely.

He loves you when no one else loves you. Others may abandon you, divorce you, and ignore you, but God will love you. Always. No matter what.

This is his sentiment: “I’ll call the nobodies and make them somebodies; I’ll call the unloved and make them beloved” (Rom. 9:25 MSG).

This is his promise: “I have loved you, my people, with an everlasting love. With unfailing love I have drawn you to myself” (Jer. 31:3 NLT).

Do you know what else that means? You have a deep aquifer of love from which to draw. When you find it hard to love, then you need a drink! Drink deeply! Drink daily!

Thank you for this!!! Recently I have found this to be TRUE!! Thank You Lord SO much that you love me for who I am!!! I really love the part that says, “others may abandon you, ignore you, BUT God will love you. NO matter what”…thank you LORD!!

  2. GOD’S LOVE, HIS ACHILLES HEEL

    (cf: Isaiah 54:10, John 4:8-11, 1 John 4:8,16,
    Romans 8:35, 38-39, 1 Cor. 13:12-13)

    Sacrilegious as it may appear
But I know of God’s Achilles heel:
His Achilles heel is his love for us.
Whence a frail mortal for us became

He’s still frail with pain o’ver us
For all our sins and ingratitude
And the arch enemy preys on it
As we fail to pray to Love for love

But as love is God’s Achilles heel
Love is all the more God’s strength
For in love, by love… and as Love
God is God, the alpha and omega.

With each passing year I depend on the unconditional love of the Lord soooo much. There was a time in my life that I didn’t love myself but finding and coming to know the Lord changed all that…. knowing that he’ll never leave, fail or forsake me. He is my reliance. Hallelujah!

Through the years I have been through a lot in life that I can honestly claim that without my full trust in HIM, I will not be where I am now. I am a very simple person with very simple wishes and dreams but it is just so amazing that the more I wish for a simple life, the more I am driven into something very complicated and challenging situations (…but I must admit…very fulfilling too)…and everyday, as I read through daily verses in the bible…it is as though GOD is in constant communication with me that I always read what I wanted to hear from HIM. Everybody says I am so blessed with everything…good husband, good children and very good job…and I know that… but the only thing they don’t know…and the greatest gift I know I have…is I have Him all the way…and will constantly long to seek HIS guidance..
